Monthly driver hire

Engage a dedicated Aadhaar-verified driver on a monthly arrangement through the platform. The same driver handles every trip across the month. Designed for recurring use , office commute, school drops, regular hospital visits, family routine, or factory shift work.

What monthly driver hire covers

A monthly arrangement engages a single verified driver from the platform for your bookings across the month. The driver handles your regular routine , the same school run twice a day, the same office commute, the same hospital visits, or shift-time factory drops.

You can also use the monthly driver for one-off trips inside the booked window , weekend errands, an airport drop, an evening outing , all under the same arrangement.

When monthly is cheaper than hourly

Hourly bookings carry a four-hour minimum and a per-engagement coordination effort. If you need a driver more than roughly three times a week, a monthly arrangement is typically more cost-effective per trip.

The break-even depends on city and trip length, but as a rough guide:

  • 3 or more engagements per week (school runs, commute), monthly is typically cheaper.
  • Daily commute (5+ days per week), monthly is meaningfully cheaper.
  • Less than 2 engagements per week, hourly stays cheaper.

The exact monthly rate is shown as an indicative figure when you submit the request. It varies by hours-per-day commitment (4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours) and by the operating city. The final fare is what you and the driver mutually agree before the arrangement begins.

Driver engagement and substitutions

The same driver handles every trip across the month. You see their photo, name, verification status, and any displayed ratings at the start of the arrangement. The driver learns your routine , school timings, parking spot, hospital protocols , and that consistency is the point.

If your engaged driver is on leave or off shift, the platform routes the day's request to other verified drivers in your area; one of them responds and you can choose whether to engage the substitute for that day. The substitute is briefed on your routine through the platform before they arrive.

Contract and cancellation terms

Monthly arrangements run calendar-month or 30-day windows. Some flexibility:

  • Two-week commitments are possible for short stays (visiting family in town for exams, a relative recovering after surgery, a project-based work stint). Both sides agree before the arrangement begins.
  • Mid-month cancellation through the platform follows the terms you and the driver agreed at the start; typically a prorated settlement for unused days with a two-day notice period.
  • Vehicle changes within the arrangement are usually fine , the driver works with whichever car you make available that day.
  • Schedule changes are accommodated on a weekly-average basis; you do not need to book the exact same hours every day, just align with the driver in advance.

Use cases we see most

The common monthly-engagement patterns:

  • Daily office commute. Two trips a day, home to office and back, five or six days a week.
  • School runs. Morning drop, afternoon pickup, occasional weekend tuition class.
  • Senior parent care. Multiple weekly hospital visits, errands, family functions.
  • Factory shift work. Industrial pincodes (Coimbatore Industrial Estate, Tirupur clusters) use monthly arrangements for shift drops.
  • Recovery and post-surgery support. Two to four weeks of dedicated driver engagement while the patient cannot drive themselves.

Payment and billing

The monthly fee is settled at the start of the arrangement through whichever payment method you and the driver agree , in-platform (UPI, bank transfer, card) or directly between you. Mid-month extensions, vehicle changes, or outstation use within the arrangement are settled separately at end of month.

A detailed monthly summary is available on the platform showing trip count, total hours, and any add-ons. Useful for tax filing if the driver engagement is for business use.

Dedicated verified driver engagement. Same driver every trip. Substitute available when needed. Prorated settlement on cancellation. Aadhaar-verified.

Frequently asked questions

How is the monthly rate determined?
The platform shows an indicative rate based on hours-per-day commitment (4, 8, or 12 hours), the operating city, and the driver's profile. The final rate is what you and the driver mutually agree before the arrangement begins. It is typically more cost-effective per trip than equivalent hourly use.
What if my driver takes leave or is sick?
The platform routes the day's request to other verified drivers in your area. One of them responds, briefed on your routine through the platform. You can choose to engage the substitute for that day or wait for your regular driver to return.
Can I extend the monthly arrangement beyond a month?
Yes. Multi-month arrangements (3 months, 6 months) are common and can be agreed at a slightly lower per-month rate. Extensions can also be done month-to-month with no long-tail commitment.
Does the driver park the car overnight at my home or theirs?
Your car stays with you. The driver does not take the car home. They arrive at your address at the agreed time and return to their own commute at end-of-day.
Can I share a monthly driver engagement with a neighbour or family member?
Yes for family members at the same address , discuss the arrangement with the driver in advance. For separate households, the monthly arrangement is typically per-address; book a second arrangement or use hourly requests for occasional shared use.
What documents are needed to start a monthly arrangement?
Vehicle RC, insurance, and PUC for the car the driver will operate. Customer ID matching the engagement holder. Documents are reviewed once at the start; no re-check during the month.
Can I cancel mid-month if my situation changes?
Yes. Two-day notice is typically enough; the unused days are settled prorata under the terms agreed at the start. No long-tail commitments.
